On Nov. 24th morning, International Famous welding expert Prof. Dong Pingsha and Prof. Zhao Wenzhong from DLJTU invited to give academic report in TPL. Teachers and students with relevant majors jointed the event.
Prof. Pingsha Dong pioneered the mesh-insensitive structural stress method (also referred to as the Master S-N Curve Method) adopted by the 2007 ASME Div 2 and API 579/ASME FFS-1 Codes and Standards mandated by over 50 countries worldwide.
Prof. Dong, based on his observations on and experiences with some of major rail vehicle manufacturers over recent years, shall provide his perspectives on how the Chinese high speed rail vehicle manufacturers could take advantage of these methodologies to become technologically advanced equipment suppliers. Then, Prof. Zhao gave a lecture on the topic of Study on fatigue life probability prediction method of welded structure based on theory of random vibration.
